Don Armijo/Fred Stawitz — Autobiography — Homeboy’s Soul: Pride, Terror & Street Justice in America
This book is currently available. In Homeboy’s Soul, Mr. Armijo brings to life what it was like to live in the barrio during the 70’s through 90’s, and the steps leading to his rise within one of East LA’s most violent street gangs. The reader peers into the life of the Calle Doce Los Sharkies and experiences how Mr. Armijo survived and ascended while his closest friends died, were maimed, or served hard time in la pinta (prison). This provocative tale, co-authored by Mr. Fred Stawitz, draws the reader into the environment, exposes the private thoughts, doubts, and fears of a Chicano youth turning killer, his rise to shotcaller, and his eventual arrest and personal transformation. The readers experience finding themselves with the same choices in front of them—would they choose the same paths he chose, or how would they escape them?

In the meanwhile, he is playing his music on cruises and starting a new mystery series.
Patricia Forehand — Mystery
Patricia is one of our newest clients with a Women’s Fiction/Mystery. One of our readers said: “This has the potential to be the next Stephanie Plum series. I could not help but think of the misguided adventures that Janet Evanovich sends Stephanie on while reading the book. This is also why I would love to see the ending set up for a sequel (oh, and I would love to critique the sequel for you too!)”. Stay tuned for more on Patricia.
